Common questions

The things people ask before they show up.

If yours isn't here, just send a note — we'd rather answer one real question over email than write twenty more here.

Ask us anything
What should I wear?

Whatever you wore on Saturday. We mean it. You'll see jeans, suits, sweats, dresses, work clothes, gym clothes. The person greeting you at the door has probably been there since 7 AM and is wearing sneakers.

What about my kids?

Programs run for ages 0–12 during both services, and a separate hangout for grades 6–12. Check-in is in the lobby; you'll get a matching tag system. Kids are also welcome in the service if that's your preference.

Will I have to introduce myself in front of everyone?

No. We don't do that, and we won't ask you to fill out a card unless you want to. Come in, sit down, leave when you want. Nobody will single you out.

How long is the service?

About 70 minutes. Roughly 25 minutes of music, 25 minutes of teaching, 10 minutes of communion, 10 minutes of announcements and prayer.

Are you LGBTQ+ welcoming?

Yes. Everyone is welcome at our table — full stop. We're happy to have a longer conversation about our specific theological positions if it's helpful for you. Just write a note and we'll set up a coffee.

Do I have to give money?

Absolutely not. We don't pass a plate during the service. Giving is something our regular members do as a spiritual practice; we don't expect or want it from anyone who's just visiting.

Can I just listen online instead?

Totally. Sunday services are livestreamed and archived on the media page. Plenty of people watch online for months before they ever come in person.

Need someone to pray for you?

Anyone on our pastoral team will pray for you, by name, every week for as long as you want. Confidential. No follow-up unless you ask for one.
